Kris faced the unexpected challenge of having to teach a small group of seven mixed-ability [low level] students. [...] Kris approached the new assignment with enthusiasm and dedication. He designed a very successful course that was effectively tailored to his students’ needs. [...]
Thank you, Kris, for being a wonderful team-player! I really enjoyed working with you and I hope to continue to do so in the near future.

Kris is a great teacher. He has good class management skills and generally paces the classes well. He explains things clearly and plans engaging classes.

He made excellent contributions in our weekly planning meetings.

He also helped create materials under my supervision. He did a great job and made several activities that we will continue to use in the future.

He showed outstanding teaching skills when teaching English to ESL students. It was different than other ESL instructors who usually just deliver their knowledge to students. Inside and outside of the classroom, I observed that he respected students’ different backgrounds [...]  I believe that it was one of many  reasons why his students were able to interact with him very actively in the class.  [...]  He had excellent evaluations by students as well as their parents.

Kris had a very successful first semester in the Pronunciation Component. It is often difficult for new teachers in this component to get used to the independence they are given to design their own syllabus and lessons, but Kris adjusted to this very well. He was able to get the most out of the textbook materials, and adapted additional materials when the textbook was inadequate.

He was very energetic and friendly in the classroom, and gave each student an opportunity to participate. He had a very natural rapport with his students, and gained their trust. The students enjoyed the classroom activities he provided and participated eagerly and actively.

He was very open to receiving suggestions, feedback, and even constructive criticism. He was appreciative of the advice he was given, and practically implemented this advice in his teaching.
